The active ingredient (Thymol) is an extract from essential oils of the thyme plant. There are no human health warnings or precautionary statements for use or disposal – no need to rinse or wipe off after application. Personal Protective Equipment is not required.

Benefect Decon 30 is an EPA registered bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, mildewstat, and carpet sanitizer. Like all Benefect products, it leverages the antimicrobial properties of Thymol in its proprietary formula. Formulated with whole essential plant oils – not synthesized copies of the chemicals found within the oils – with our unique Optimized Dynamic Chemistry (ODC) surfactant system, Decon 30 boosts cleaning performance while still achieving hospital-level disinfection. The ODC system also enhances mold killing and mildew prevention!

Usage Instructions

TO CLEAN:
1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility) and wipe clean.

TO DEODORIZE:
1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility).
2. Allow to air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required.

TO DISINFECT:
1. Wet the surface by sprayer (high or low pressure, hand or power operated), cloth, sponge or mop (spot test to check surface compatibility).
2. Leave for 10 minutes. Allow to air-dry.
3. No rinsing or wiping is required. For heavily soiled surfaces pre-cleaning is required

TO SANITIZE:
1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility).
2. Leave for 30 seconds. Allow to air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required.

TO SANITIZE & DEODORIZE CARPETS:
1. Apply to the pre-cleaned carpet area by wand, sprayer, extractor, spin bonnet or immersion processes until saturated (spot test fibers for colorfastness before use).
2. Scrub or agitate the carpet as needed to ensure the test substance is delivered throughout the carpet pile and backing. Extract and allow to air dry.
